Born in the Etruscan era as a small agricultural village, Bonello is a treasure chest of history. Remains of Etruscan settlements and tombs nearby attest to its antiquity, while the local stones and artisanal building materials tell of centuries of life.
Having survived the bombings of the Second World War, Bonello with its primary school was the beating heart of the rural community, a place of sharing, learning and production.
Purchased by the Savelli family in 1969, the farm has been meticulously restored, bringing to light ancient details and keeping tradition alive. Today Bonello is an oasis of peace, where the past merges with the present, offering an authentic experience in the heart of Tuscany.
Currently the farmhouse has been renovated in all its parts, bringing to light and recovering ancient architectural details and original materials that had remained hidden for many years.
