In the month of July the small village of Monticchiello becomes a stage for the inhabitants of the town who, in turn, become actors in new theatrical works every year.
During the winter, the inhabitants develop original theatrical works, usually based on current and political events, which they then stage in the summer.
The sets and costumes are made by local artisans and carpenters.
